Apple’s iPhone 17 launch is expected to take center stage at the company’s rumored September 9, 2025 hardware event. Alongside the new smartphones, Apple fans can look forward to fresh updates for the Apple Watch, AirPods, and possibly a brand-new ultra-slim iPhone Air.
The iPhone 17 lineup will reportedly feature the standard, Pro, and Pro Max models. The base model may get a bigger 6.3-inch display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an upgraded 24-megapixel front camera. Purple and green shades are also in testing as potential new color options.
The iPhone 17 Pro could see a redesigned rear camera layout in a horizontal bar, while switching from titanium to aluminum for a lighter feel. Meanwhile, the Pro Max may grow slightly thicker to fit a larger battery. Expected pricing is around $800 for the iPhone 17, $1,050 for the Pro, and $1,250 for the Pro Max. Storage options for the Pro models could drop the 128GB tier, starting instead at 256GB.
One of the biggest talking points is the rumored iPhone Air — tipped to be the thinnest iPhone ever at just 5.5mm thick. With a 6.6-inch display, it may replace the Plus model, though it could have only one rear camera and limited audio hardware. Pricing could start near $950, with color options in black, silver, and light gold.
Apple’s wearable lineup is also set for updates. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 may add faster charging, 5G, satellite connectivity, and possibly blood pressure and sleep apnea monitoring. The Series 11 could share some of these features, while the SE 3 may get a larger display and a rumored plastic variant. Expected prices: $250 for SE 3, $400 for Series 11, and $800 for Ultra 3.
AirPods Pro 3 could also make their debut with a sleeker design, touch-sensitive controls, a smaller case, and improved noise cancellation via a new H3 chip.
If these leaks prove accurate, the iPhone 17 launch will mark one of Apple’s most ambitious hardware events yet, blending design innovations with health-focused wearable upgrades and next-gen audio accessories.
