Endor Labs Raises $93M to Strengthen AI Code Security Platform
As AI-generated code becomes a staple in software development, security concerns are rising—and Endor Labs is stepping up with fresh funding to tackle them. The Palo Alto and Bangalore-based startup has raised $93 million in Series B funding to expand its security platform that detects and resolves vulnerabilities in AI-generated and open-source code.
The funding round, led by DFJ Growth, drew participation from major players including Salesforce Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Coatue, Dell Technologies Capital, Section 32, and Citi Ventures. This latest investment brings Endor’s total funding to $163 million.
Originally focused on securing open-source software packages, Endor Labs pivoted in response to the rapid adoption of AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot and Cursor. Their expanded platform integrates directly with these tools, scanning code in real time and offering targeted fixes that can be applied automatically.
“We’ve seen 30x annual recurring revenue growth since our Series A in 2023,” said CEO and co-founder Varun Badhwar. “This round helps us double down on our mission to protect applications built with AI.”
Endor’s suite now also includes tools that identify and assess AI model integrations within enterprise codebases—offering visibility that’s becoming essential as generative AI systems proliferate in dev environments.
The platform has been adopted by top organizations, including OpenAI, Dropbox, Peloton, Snowflake, and Rubrik. It currently protects more than 5 million applications, running over 1 million code scans per week.
“Endor Labs is redefining application security,” said Ramin Sayar, venture partner at DFJ Growth. “Their timing couldn’t be better, with AI-generated code becoming the new normal.”
With a global team of 133 employees and offices in Palo Alto and Bangalore, Endor Labs is positioning itself as a leader in the future of AI-powered DevSecOps.
